  • Laden joined Bowhunter magazine in 2016 and quickly rose to become Publisher of North American Whitetail, GunDog and WildFowl magazines in 2019.
  • Raised on his family farm in northern Missouri, Laden cut his teeth on bow hunting eastern turkeys, whitetail deer, a few small game species, while learning the importance of being a steward of the land they inhabited. “Land management & stewardship is a part of my passion and lifestyle. It was a part of who I was long before I ever realized that I was joining the industry.”
  • He pursued Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Agribusiness and Business Administration. His education and passion have guided his 15-year career in the outdoor industry with companies such as Remington, Zeiss Sports Optics and Bowtech.
  • Laden is an avid outdoorsman who thrives on pursuing game with his bow, successfully harvesting several North American species, and actively advocating for better wildlife habitat.
  • Whether it’s his own farms or a landscape that he is consulting on as part of his land management efforts at North American Whitetail, Laden enjoys the reward of seeing that ecosystem evolve into a sounder and more supplemental environment than we found it.
  • When not leading development of the brands North American Whitetail, Gun Dog & Wildfowl, Laden acts as the Producer and Host of North American Whitetail TV, one of the longest-running and most popular outdoor television series, on the Sportsman Channel.
  • While Laden says he is very fortunate in the fact that his career is largely driven by his interest and hobbies of being an outdoorsman and hunter, his also family enjoys fishing, other outdoor-based activities, and participating in and spectating stick-n-ball sports.
